  5. In January of 2020, Table of Grace was offered an amazing opportunity of a new building to expand our ministry here in Sidney and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find any affordable land for this. Time is running out on this incredible opportunity. We need 1 1/2 - 2 acres of land. If you have land that you would be willing to sell, please contact Sherri at 308-765-0362.

If you would like to help us with our expansion, there will be many more expenses than just the building. We will need pallet shelving, fork lift, office furniture, etc. You can send a check to 144 Jackson Street Sidney, NE 69162 or bring your donation to the store on Fridays or Saturdays from 9 am - 4 pm.

  6. Table of Grace Ministries is working on a new mobile food pantry program.

We are putting together a 30' enclosed trailer to use as a mobile walk through pantry. The trailer will be equipped with AC/heat, lighting, shelves, refrigerator and freezer. This mobile pantry will allow us to reach families and individuals in rural areas with food.

Thanks to an anonymous donor (at this time), we are anticipating the arrival of our trailer around Thanksgiving!

We are in need of a dually truck to pull the trailer. If you are interested in helping with this project, donations can be mailed to: Table of Grace 1444 Jackson St. Sidney, NE 69162.

  7. We are computerizing our registration process for the Sidney pantry starting in September. Please be patient with our registrars as they will be learning the new computer system. Clients will still need to bring in ID's for everyone in the household and proof of address. We will be doing away with the punch cards and will be issuing pantry ID cards instead.

  8. Table of Grace Mission Store is now online!  The online store is for local pick up only, no shipping at this time.  Orders placed must be picked by the following 4 pm the next Saturday or they will be returned to stock.  Please be patient as we learn the new system and upload new items.

  9. We would like to thank the Peeds family and Sand Hills Global for their donation of our new mobile food bank trailer and truck.
The addition of this mobile pantry will allow us to meet the needs of the small rural towns that do not have a physical pantry in their community.

Bell Lumber and Pole Co. has been a long-time contributor of grants to Table of Grace. In 2022, the grant from Bell Lumber & Pole Co. supported most of our operating expense, which is invaluable to keeping this organization running for our community and supporting the increasing number of families in need. Table of Grace receives NO money from the government and depends solely on grants, the generosity of donors, and what our thrift store brings in. This year, Bell Lumber has graciously offered Table of Grace a matching grant of up to $80,000 for any donations contributed prior to 12/31/2023.
